GLOBAL
Jennifer Barsky is a global leader with over 25 years of experience in international program development, partnerships, policy change, and resource mobilization across 20+ countries. After experiencing early menopause, she shifted her focus to menopause research and support in 2019. Mentoring hundreds of global leaders and marginalized women revealed the tremendous gaps in knowledge, care, and support, underscoring the urgent need for a coordinated global response to this critical health issue, which led her to found the Global Menopause Alliance (MenoGlobal).
Before founding MenoGlobal, Jennifer spent over a decade at the World Bank Group, leading multi-million dollar programs in women’s empowerment, health, and financial inclusion. She has worked across all levels of international development, from grassroots communities to advising presidents, CEOs, ministers, and global foundations. As the founding director of the Nike Foundation, she pioneered groundbreaking advocacy and program initiatives for adolescent girls. A former journalist, she has published widely and taught at Columbia and New York Universities.
